The Esala Perahera season transforms Kandy into a spectacular cultural hub. The Ceylon Classic Motorcycle Club marks this historic occasion with its annual static showcase and ceremonial promenade around the historic Kandy Lake.
Spectators and classic enthusiast families gather to admire concours-condition British classics, vintage girder-fork machines, and rare sidecar combinations parked against the backdrop of colonial architecture.
This gathering offers motorcycle lovers the opportunity to inspect rare pre-war engineering up close and converse with senior restorers.
